Richland County Clerical Assistant
This is a limited term employment position with up to 24 hours per week. The purpose of this position is to perform data entry, scanning, office organization, and support tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required or assigned.
- Transferring data from paper formats into computer files or database systems
- Retrieve data from the data base or electronic files as requested
- Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Other job duties as assigned by Highway Commissioner
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- High School diploma or vocational/technical training in office support functions
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and adhere to time frames
- Working knowledge of computers, computer programs, typing, and data entry.
- Current driver’s license and unlimited access to reliable transportation.
WAGES AND BENEFITS
Job Type: Temp/Casual 24 hours per week Limited Term Employment
- Wages: $18.87 per hour
- Benefits: Not Benefit Eligible
